    Thornton’s Restaurant and Mitchell & Son are pleased to announce a special Bordeaux Dinner hosted by Eric Fourault from Fourault & Co representing Baron Edmond de Rothschild estates in Bordeaux.

    The dinner will take place in Michelin-starred Thornton’s Restaurant.

    A four course tasting menu exclusively created by Kevin Thornton will be served to accompany the wines, all of which will be served in the appropriate Riedel glass design. The spotlight will be on Chateau Clarke which takes its name from Irishman Tobie Clarke.

    Burgundy Wines Masterclass

    The National Off-Licence Association and the Discover the Origin campaign are again delighted to invite NOffLA members to discover the wines of the Bourgogne region of France during a special master class.  Taste the delicious and unique wines Bourgogne has to offer, as well as finding out more about food and wine matches. The Discover the Origin initiative features a range of food and wines with Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) status, including Parma Ham, Parmigiano-Reggiano Cheese, Bourgogne Wines, Port and Douro Wines. Each of these is produced using traditional methods, as well as for having a unique taste and heritage.
