     Noel Tymlin, Education & Development Manager, Findlater Wine and Spirit Group hosted an excellent tasting of Wines from the Masi and Antinori portfolios for the Guild today in Dublin -. Monday April 4th 2016 Oliver J. Murtagh, President of the Irish Guild of Sommeliers thanked Noel on his excellent presentation and also acknowledged Chris Donoghue’s help in organizing this event. Chris is Guild Trade President and a great supporter of the Guild for many years from the time he worked with Grants of Ireland.  Thanks to all those who attended.

    DIT Cathal Brugha St. 75th Anniversary Hospitality Tourism Leisure Event Management

    This year marks the 75th Anniversary of DIT Cathal Brugha Street. Saint Mary’s College of Domestic Science, as it was originally known, was officially opened on June 16th, 1941 receiving the first students in September of that year.

    A programme of events is being organised to celebrate this very important occasion including an exhibition  opened on 19th February which depicts the happenings of the past seventy five years. Much has changed in the intervening years and it is hoped, with your help, to tell the Cathal Brugha Street story and that of the people, students and staff, who studied and worked in the College. This includes the whole story from the 1940’s through to the present day.
