The lecture and tasting of Irish Whiskies  was given by Andrew O’ Gorman, Secretary  Irish Guild of Sommeliers & Treasurer Bartenders Association of Ireland who was a member of staff at DIT for 38.5 years.

Whiskies tasted/referred to were as follows: Greenore, Bushmills, Jameson, Powers John’s Lane Single Pot Still, Tullamore Dew, Bushmills Single Malt Malt,Black Bush, Tyrconnell Single Malt, Connemara Peated Malt, Poitín and many collectible whiskies such as Hewitts, Baileys The Whiskey, Midleton Reserve and many more.
